Around the summer of 2023, after a long search through Google and Google Maps, I determined which was the region of Spain where it seemed ideal to live and enjoy life (the Costa Blanca). So I started looking for homes on the most used real estate portals in Spain (Idealista, ThinkSpain, etc.). In the aforementioned places there is a lot of offer, but as soon as you dig a little deeper it becomes difficult to arrange visits, since many times the ads are old and the property has already been sold. The problem is that in Spain anyone can call themselves a real estate agent, but few really are... With Epic Properties you don't have that problem. After several trips to the Altea region to visit properties, he still hadn't been successful. Until one Friday in September 2023, I received an email from Epic Properties informing me that the apartment I wanted to see so badly was still for sale. So, a few days later, I went back to Spain to visit it together with Heidi from Epic Properties. After visiting the apartment, everything went very quickly: the provisional purchase contract was signed, the deposit payment was made and the process began... They took care of everything for me: the agent's investigation of the property, the appointment with the notary, tax issues, local administrative procedures, insurance, internet, etc., and even gave me very good advice on local banks. The only procedure I had already managed on my own was the Spanish NIE number, but Epic Properties can also do it for you. During the search for property in Spain and throughout the buying process, there are a lot of things to manage, so make sure you start with a good licensed real estate agent and take them with you during your property search in Spain.
